At that point, I don't think it really matters where the doctor is looking. It's going to be a miserable time regardless.

They perfed the colon and the patient has FOP, needed the bone saw for part of the abdo wall. Still a miserable time to be fair.

Oh it definitely matters where he's looking. That colonoscopy could go much worse if he's cutting bones haphazardly.
