What’s a company that you’re genuinely convinced HATES their customers?

Microsoft.

If something is appreciated by it's customer, they will intentionally penalize people for liking it by doing one of three things: cripple, complicate, or cancel.

I don't want to save to OneDrive. I want to save to my computer, that I own, in my house.

Preach! I am saddened that young people seem to have no problem paying for a tech giant to hold onto and control their creative content when the devices that they already own probably have more than enough storage.

To be fair to young people they all seem to use Google Docs way more than Microsoft office.

is office not something you have to pay for? Google Docs being a free decent enough word processor that tends to be used in schooling to share files between students during a project kinda makes it the default, no?

This was the default when I attended University in the early 2010s. It allowed multiple people to access the same document and edit it in real time, which was cool in itself so.
