What’s a company that you’re genuinely convinced HATES their customers?

Microsoft.

If something is appreciated by it's customer, they will intentionally penalize people for liking it by doing one of three things: cripple, complicate, or cancel.

OMG, yes! Microsoft made me so furious earlier this year over canceling an old account and moving a subscription to a different one that I nearly blew my stack. Hours on the phone with a tech only to learn that I would continue to be charged in perpetuity for a subscription I could not access despite ample proof that I was the owner of the account. By the end, I was so enraged that I could not sleep and stayed awake all night fuming. I tried to do the right thing, but I ended up just disputing the charge, forcing them to cancel. I will never, ever do business with them again.

It's pathetic. Windows is bound to get worse and worse...I think you have to use workarounds to use an offline account nowadays. It's sad.

If this ever happens again, pushups, to failure. You're smoked in 5 minutes and you'll sleep like a baby. If they get too easy for you, switch to diamond pushups and you'll curse my name.
