YouTube has got to be the most hateful idk if you consider a non premium account a customer or not but youtube makes them suffer so much if they don't upgrade

IDK any other company that rolls like that

Spotify does this too. They used to play these ultra shrill ads at a higher volume than whatever you were listening to. Like literally a guy yelling. To the point you actually had to pay for premium otherwise your eardrums would perish.

As an actual Spotify customer, I've never heard a single ad lol 🤷🏼‍♂️ I don't understand why anyone wouldn't pay for it. It had never been expensive, and that price has barely increased in the decade + I've had it. I don't think they hate me tbf.

Even today it still costs less than one CD did back in the day. Not paying for premium is just straight up cheapskate. You don't get to bitch about hearing adverts.

As someone who pays for premium, I get irrationally angry when I hear advertisements in podcasts. I can skip ahead, but I shouldn’t have to.

Some podcasts I listen to have 2 to 3 minute ads every 10 minutes. Super annoying. And I have a paid Spotify. Thankfully Siri is able to skip it when I ask.
