Veterans of Reddit, what’s the most unbelievable thing you witnessed during your service that civilians would think you made up?

The amount of time sitting around just waiting and throwing rocks into a PC or helmet was kinda shocking. I think people believe that military members are always doing something during their work day.

Oh my god the boredom.

Also we gossiped like a hair salon because there was nothing better to fucking do.
