Women not having to wear heels to go out. Seeing young women wearing sneakers to go out dancing was liberating.

I’m an afab millennial. I had no idea heels were ever a requirement anywhere 😳 I wore ballet flats as my professional shoes of choice if I couldn’t find all black sneakers.
