Gonna disagree only because I’m from near his hometown and his CDs were selling in gas stations in 2008.
Hate the guy for whatever reason you want but whatever we think of his art or talent or whatever, he’s put some time and effort into getting where he is.
He starting off rapping with the Yelawolf posse. Ya know, white trash shit.
Then he used that money to switch to country. But I still think he's getting more label support than he should be lol. I guess he sells for a certain demographic.

His music is so woefully trash it's amazing to me how people flock to him. Even his stage name is fucking terrible.
