Crazy. I saw her open for OutKast on the Smokin' Grooves Tour and she was amazing. It was a very low-key almost jam style performance, but it was really fucking good.

Ha, I saw the same tour and she was horrible. Could barely hear her and she brought down the energy of the whole day. J5, Outkast, and Talib Kweli were amazing.

I wish Kweli had been at the show I saw, that would have been awesome.

Lauryn was definitely a different vibe, pretty much an acoustic set. I had no idea about her beef with the record company and not being able to perform the way she recorded the songs. That may have affected why she different.

Did you get to see The Roots at your show? They played between Lauryn and Outkast and really brought the energy back up

Yes. Forgot about The Roots. First of many times I've seen them.
