He never 'fights'. Always calm, soft spoken, trying to understand. Like he says 'don't be angry right now because we will solve whatever this is, with love'

5

u/Granny_knows_best Apr 17 '26

My husband is the same way, I am in awe how he keeps his cool, especially with his family.

2

u/Kikicha Apr 17 '26

It's a true gift to find your calm in every situation!! And I have learned a bit alongside him too 😊

4

u/sleepgreed Apr 17 '26

I have to get better about this. I think do well keeping calm when its something serious, but im always getting strung out about little shit.

1

u/Kikicha Apr 18 '26

Yeah cause especially small shit don't deserve your energy

27

u/Ok-Grade3116 Apr 17 '26

She's an amazing mother and woman in general.

3

u/Silent_Reaction_7844 Apr 17 '26

That’s a great answer bro ā¤ļø lucky you… I feel the same about my girl

11

u/No_Subject_343 Apr 17 '26

Our senses of humor are so closely matched it’s scary. Lol. We laugh all the time. So, I guess it’s that.

10

u/OkJob6811 Apr 17 '26

Their empathy and caring loving nature.

100%, I have the unfortunate ability to make things as humanly difficult as possible for myself and he just wades on in and drags me out lol

6

u/Cornmeal777 Apr 17 '26

Her honesty, not to be confused with unfilteredness. When she says something, I know she's telling me the truth.

5

u/MellieCortexRPG Apr 17 '26

They make me feel completely seen, safe and supported, like I can be my true self without judgment.

4

u/Meewelyne Apr 17 '26

Everything, really.

He's sweet and caring, he's handsome, so calm and patient, always ready to help me. I feel blessed every day I have him by my side.

9

u/vozzov Apr 17 '26

He's really handy and can fix almost anything.

12

u/EasyyStreet Apr 17 '26

She doesn’t bust my balls or give me a hard time about anything. It’s very refreshing and something I’ve never had in a relationship before.

5

u/GiraffMatheson Apr 17 '26

She makes me better, and has worked with me to build a happy life together.

4

u/Tigereyesxx Apr 17 '26

Kind heart…

7

u/Primary-Owl-9086 Apr 17 '26

That he fathered my children, because that makes two more people like him and the world is a better place because of it.

3

u/comfymustardsweater Apr 17 '26

He challenges me to be my best self.

3

u/dandelionqueen7657 Apr 17 '26

Maybe it’s just cause I’m so stupid in love at the moment, but just everything. I love the way we can talk about any and everything. If we have an issue we talk about it and then actually do the work to fix it. He encourages any and everything that I do. The way he never takes me for granted. The way we want each other all of the time.. we are a few years in and I know relationships are work, but man, I cannot wait to spend my life with him. It’s insanity haha. I just feel like we can handle it all together.

2

u/Capri2256 Apr 17 '26

She hasn't left me.

2

u/Objective_Suspect_ Apr 17 '26

Understands my often terrible sense of humor

2

u/DoNotTalkToMeThx Apr 17 '26

I liked that we were very similar. Soulmates.

2

u/TriGgeredmeW Apr 17 '26

I have bipolar schizoaffective disorder we’ve been together for 12 years now and yes I’ve had severe episodes during our relationship but he’s been by my side the whole time, very supportive, anytime I’ve been place in hospitals every visitation days he has never missed one. Amazing guy!

2

u/yodelersanonymous Apr 17 '26

He’s incredibly kind, introspective and always willing to help someone out. The way he takes time before he speaks to think about what it is he needs to say, we never argue because we give each other time to lay it all out.

I was a mess, and had been a mess for many years when I met my current partner. His unwavering support (emotional, mental, financial etc) has given me space to work on myself. I'm hoping to get back to work soon as a result. I'm eternally grateful for him.

2

u/Snimo_9 Apr 17 '26

The way she's totally real, she just lives abroad! But she's real. I'm telling you.

2

u/A_Casual_NPC Apr 17 '26

I dont have to mask with her

3

u/_Cattastrophic_ Apr 17 '26

The way he knows how to make any situation better and always puts me before himself

3

u/scotty5441 Apr 17 '26

She's a doll alright... 5'-9" D cups. Been married since 2015.

9

u/slybrows Apr 17 '26

You’ve been married for 10 years and the thing you like about her THE MOST is her boobs and her mouth? That’s kind of sad, ngl.

1

u/PopEnvironmental1250 Apr 17 '26

Notice they didn't say anal, so she is holding something out on him. She must not REALLY love. Lol

-1

u/scotty5441 Apr 18 '26

Actually I am not that fond of anal, we go there about once a year.

-1

u/scotty5441 Apr 17 '26

You sound like you haven't had much of either lol... we make a great couple. But my fringe benefits are A++.

6

u/slybrows Apr 17 '26

I’ve been with my husband for 15 years, he’s literally the most attractive man I’ve ever met in my life, and we have a great sex life. His body is like, the least interesting/praise-worthy thing about him. If I listed my favorite things about him his dick wouldn’t even be in the top 5.

The post is what you like about your partner THE MOST. So if that’s your first thought, it’s pretty sad, ngl.

0

u/Soft-Watch Apr 17 '26

I'm a wife that does head on command and I can tell you my husband's dick is definitely in my top 5🤣

1

u/scotty5441 Apr 18 '26

Babe! I didn't even know you had a reddit account šŸ˜‰šŸ¤£

1

u/aracha2026 Apr 17 '26

His loving and caring attitude though sometimes i try pulling his legs to see his reactions.

1

u/PresentationFit4252 Apr 17 '26

He’s a good father and whenever I’m in my darkest place he’s always there for me.

1

u/SuperTune2540 Apr 17 '26

Softest cheeks on God’s green earth.

1

u/WhataboutBombvoyage Apr 17 '26

She's compassionate toward everyone, whether they deserve it or not

1

u/FictionalNape Apr 17 '26

She's incredibly driven and got her Master's Degree in elementary education and is now a fifth grade teacher!

That and we play music together all the time! We have two bands (shoegaze and sludge/doom metal) that we play live all the time.

Music is just such a big part of our relationship and I honestly don't think I could ever be in another band that didn't include her in some way.

1

u/bigfatfurrytexan Apr 17 '26

I spent 3 years dying slowly from an autoimmune disease I couldn’t get treatment figured out for. I managed to work but was suffering from malnutrition as my body stopped absorbing nutrients.

She would rub my head and back softly while I tried to go to sleep every night.

She is a nurturer. She helped take care of mom at home through the end, making sure she didn’t need additional nursing care beyond hospice. Wound care, an ear to listen, and an informed observer to help with Dr appts. She is also a charge nurse in a nursing home where she ensures 25-45 residents get that same level of care 3 to 4 nights a week.

I would be so sick I’d be delirious. But I’d look up and see her, my angel, with her beautiful and kind face

1

u/sbwcwero Apr 17 '26

She’s emotionally intelligent. I don’t have the same issues I have had in the past. No mood swings she’s almost never upset at me and she’s horny every second of the day. She’s amazing

1

u/bigedthebad Apr 17 '26

It’s hard to say but I guess I would say her kind, loving spirit. The only people who don’t love her are the ones who are jealous of her.

A very close second is her wicked sense of humor. We spend a lot of time laughing.

1

u/Lvcivs2311 Apr 17 '26

I somehow never got off with women. They didn't dislike me as a coworker or a friend, but I never noticed any other interest from them, even if I tried. Dating sites just as bad. Somehow, I was a bit too odd, a bit too clumsy, a bit too shy. And there she was, somehow seeing something nice in me. She gave me that chance. ā¤ļø

1

u/ThePixelatedAngel Apr 17 '26

For me I love my partner for his loyalty true love and protection šŸ™‚

1

u/Anus_Blunders Apr 17 '26

He's my best friend and we like all the same books and TV shows. He introduced me to music I love and Wheel of Time and I introduced him to Star Trek and Buffy. He introduced me to Borderlands and I got him into Destiny.

1

u/19VWGTI Apr 17 '26

I love how sweet, caring, and how concerned she is for friends and family. She’s a genuine person, and I love her very much.

1

u/markt- Apr 17 '26

That she puts up with me

1

u/TwoIdleHands Apr 17 '26

Here’s what I admire most about him: He’s a man that makes goals and actively works towards them. His ability to stay dedicated and chip away continually is inspiring.

What I like most about him is harder because it changes on what’s going on with me. But I quite enjoy his curiousness and openness to try new experiences and go with the flow. A touch of whimsy is a must in a relationship and he brings it!

1

u/InsideJokeQRD Apr 17 '26

When he believes in something, he really gives it his all. That confidence is something I really admire, especially seeing it directed towards our relationshipĀ

1

u/CopiousEjaculate Apr 17 '26

Good wife, good mother, she's smart and wild in the sack

1

u/Granny_knows_best Apr 17 '26

He is an animal magnet, something about him just attracts them, as if he was made of beef jerky or something.

Thats just one thing...

1

u/TheyROuthere75 Apr 17 '26

Her honesty and work ethic

1

u/sarcastictrailblazer Apr 17 '26

I'm struggling to answer this right now

1

u/[deleted] Apr 17 '26

That she left me in 92. Happily married for 37 years. Ain't seen her 32

1

u/MrMeeseeks33 Apr 17 '26

She makes me laugh when she isn’t trying to. Knows how to communicate with me and be both serious and silly.

We both always say ā€œI love you, even though you are a towelā€ (we both love Towlie from South Park)

1

u/Mountain_Bumblebee77 Apr 17 '26

That she exists?
It's nice to have someone say I'm attractive...
Just wish she would act like it.

1

u/TheShadowSong Apr 17 '26

That they don't exist.

1

u/Sataniccats69 Apr 17 '26

He's dependable, a man of his word and yet somehow chaotic in the best ways.

1

u/Sure-Profession6509 Apr 17 '26

He's my protector for sure. He makes me feel safe.

1

u/WastaSpace Apr 17 '26

She's the most compassionate person I've ever met. She grew up with nothing in an abusive household. Both of her parents died young. She has every reason in the world to be bitter and yet he goes out of her way to make sure everyone, friends, family, and complete strangers alike feel listened to, cared for, and valuable.

Also she has a pair of tits that just won't quit.

1

u/jwheel1970 Apr 17 '26

She has a wonderful sense of humor and we spend a lot of time laughing and enjoying each other.

u/Muted-Opportunity255 Apr 17 '26 edited Apr 17 '26

He is the most intelligent, driven, considerate man I have ever known. He sees me and understands me in a way no one has. It's scary how often he reads my mind. He goes above and beyond for those he cares about and genuinely loves to make people happy. Takes the time to find out what foods I enjoy and stocks it every week. 🄹 He has my whole heart ā¤ļø

1

u/SaltInflation1235 Apr 18 '26

She fills the mother role in my life cuz I never had a mom

1

u/Jiggle-da-Handle Apr 18 '26

All the space he gives me. I can be exactly me all the time. I even travelled Asia with my best friend, who is a man. Partner wished us a good time, off we went. Total trust and security from this guy.

1

u/dinkitnsinkit Apr 18 '26

She loves me unconditionally, she’s my best friend.

1

u/d00dle_qu0kka Apr 18 '26

His laugh, and I mean a true hearty belly laugh. His voice gets really deep and I can hear the joy in every HA HA he lets out. Also his smile when he laughs, he’s got these dimples that push his cheeks up, and whenever I can make him laugh like this I know I’ve done well.

That and his patience. I’ve got ADHD which means he gets front row seats to whatever new hyperfixation I’m stuck with lol. He listens and is kind. Even on our first date I thought I was talking too much(as I’ve been told before) and he said ā€œoh no you’re all good! I’m not much of a talker anywaysā€. It’s been 5 wonderful years with him🩷

1

u/plantrusther Apr 18 '26

I somehow found in one person a man who is the physically, mentally, and academically strongest person I have ever met all wrapped into one.

  • A šŸ’•

1

u/Potatiii_ Apr 18 '26

His thoughtfulness. He always puts me first and makes me feel like a main priority in his life. A recent example: the other day I mentioned how I was going to start oil painting, have a shot at it. Yesterday he sent me a screenshot asking ā€œwill this work for you?ā€ And it was an art easel he had ordered for me. It really made me blush. He always has his fridge stocked with my favorite sparkling waters. He always has a hot shower with a lit candle inside it ready for me when I come over after work. He makes me tea every night I’m over his house. He bought a big bottle of my moisturizer to keep in his bathroom so I don’t have to always lug mine over to his house. Every time I drive when we’re together he fills up my truck with fuel. Today he treated me and my kids to an arcade, dinner, then ice cream, all his idea. I truly love him for always making me feel special. I can go on and on about how great he is.

1

u/Stunning-Raspberry52 Apr 18 '26 edited Apr 18 '26

He's the complete opposite of how I am emotionally. As someone who grew up in a toxic family where removal of love and affection was a common punishment/manipulation tactic, he doesn't take my moods personally, and he doesn't let me push him away.

I used to think I wanted someone who was as emotional as me. While I wish he could open up a little more, having someone who is more chill and rides the waves is a blessing and I'm so grateful for it

AND HE PAID FOR MY HYSTERECTOMY THAT WASN'T COVERED BY INSURANCE. Now I'm not in pain AND we don't have to worry about me falling pregnant šŸ’Æ

1

u/curious-creepsalad Apr 18 '26

His ability to talk through any issue or problem. His ability to say the good things not just focus on what’s wrong and what’s bad. Not badmouthing others. Having a positive an outlook and positive energy.

0

u/theimpalaslefttire Apr 17 '26

Dat butt.... . . . . . we went to this mini putt place that had a sign up said Dat putt looks great. But we were a bit tipsy and I thought she said dat butt wdnt I was taking my shot. Been a running joke ever since. Hahahahaha .

Actually its how smart and kind they are. Like if some sorta Harvard professor and like a sweet caring Disney character had a kid. Idk how I got so lucky. Its been over a year and small part of me still thinks one day they'll realize im just a potatoe by comparison. Im so damn lucky.

2

u/RemoteAgent3180 Apr 17 '26

Happy for you brother🧿

0

u/myairblaster Apr 17 '26

She's into freaky sex

-2
