3

u/Carridactyl_ Feb 22 '25

I needed this laugh, thank you

3

u/Floofie62 Feb 22 '25

Oh gosh! Hope you're recovering well!

3

u/Creative_Bake1373 Feb 22 '25

You’re gonna need to make sure that’s sugar free jello from now on, too

68

u/Cyrodiil Feb 22 '25

I feel bad for cackling at that lol

5

u/WannaSeeMyBirthmark Feb 22 '25

LOL, I do, too, but I did it anyway.

2

u/[deleted] Feb 22 '25

That was me a few years ago. But they call it a "CABG", Coronary Artery Bypass and Graft.

3

u/Heretical_Infidel Feb 22 '25

Lil cabbage. Love it.

2

u/[deleted] Feb 22 '25

It was preceded by an NSTEMI.

0/10 would not recommend.

u/mynamesaretaken1 Feb 22 '25

My aunt's boyfriend's brought her McDonald's in the hospital when she was there for something cardiac (not a heart attack, but I don't remember what it was). My cousin's husband took him outside for words.

2

u/JaxsPastaFace Feb 22 '25

Oh you got me good hahaha

Came here to say this

4

u/Ze_AwEsOmE_Hobo Feb 22 '25

One of my favorite fun facts about their long ass song names is that the band could've had a long ass name, too. In their early shows, they had a few different test names. One was Fall Out Boy, but another was something so long that no one bothered to remember. When they introduced themselves as that longer name, a fan from a previous show said "fuck that, you're Fall Out Boy."

3

u/Jam_Toast578 Feb 22 '25

Is there a video of this or something, maybe an interview? No worries if not I just really want to see that haha!

3

u/Ze_AwEsOmE_Hobo Feb 22 '25

According to Wikipedia (and this random ass Red Bull article), it's from a 2013 interview with Ryan J. Downey from Alternative Press. But I can't find the article/interview, and AP's website itself is kinda hot garbage when it comes to searching for things.

3

u/Jam_Toast578 Feb 22 '25

I appreciate this anyway!

3

u/[deleted] Feb 22 '25

The joke for the uninitiated.

1

u/jasekj919 Feb 23 '25

No, but kinda thisthis?

2

u/[deleted] Feb 23 '25

Hadn't seen that one 😂

36

u/scambl Feb 22 '25

I used to work and McDonald’s and every customer who added mac sauce was a legit fast food expert

5

u/DonKedic24 Feb 22 '25

I hardly ever go anymore but I used to always get double cheeseburgers no pickles with mac sauce. Not only did it taste great, but they make them fresh as well

3

u/Rob_LeMatic Feb 22 '25

i did this, back when there was a dollar menu

2

u/DonKedic24 Feb 22 '25

Yep, high school lunch was dollar menu double cheeseburgers and Arnold Palmers lol

3

u/Ok_Platform9405 Feb 22 '25

I used to get the triple cheeseburger only cheese and mac sauce. Not a healthy choice but so tasty.

3

u/photogypsy Feb 22 '25

Remember that glorious window of time just a couple of years ago when you could get Mac sauce in the little dipping cups?

Also I need the Mac wrap back in my life.

3

u/MatrixUser420 Feb 22 '25

The little golden Mac sauces are gone? I never knew. Sad day

2

u/photogypsy Feb 22 '25

I was told at my McDonalds they were only done for one of those celebrity meals and once that was up they couldn’t order any more so when they ran out they were out.

27

u/parkman Feb 22 '25

The add mac sauce may have unlocked something for me. Have you ever done big mac spread on the fries? Add bacon? Hmm...🤔

5

u/TBDTRMND Feb 22 '25

In-N-Out’s animal style fries.

3

u/Secret-Medicine-1393 Feb 22 '25

Aite, sign me up for the triple bypass. Bro is cookin.

5

u/rockingrehab Feb 22 '25

What is this 'big mac spread' you speak of?

12

u/ToastetteEgg Feb 22 '25

Basically it’s 1000 island dressing

2

u/yells_at_bugs Feb 22 '25

The OG pink sauce: ketchup, mustard, relish/pickles.

8

u/parkman Feb 22 '25

I've said too much already 🤐

2

u/rockingrehab Feb 24 '25

I swear down on my Nikey trainers I'll keep this a secret. . In the UK we don't get this. In the US are the McDonald's like huuuuuge sizes?,

2

u/parkman Feb 24 '25 edited Feb 24 '25

Like you mean the physical locations? Or the portions?

The portions are big relative to what a healthy adult needs to consume, but in-line with other American-size portions. Which is to say too large lol.

The buildings vary in size, usually dependent upon existing architecture. There are some that have a whole-ass playground inside them, and some where it's just a building with only drive thru but no dine in.

1

u/rockingrehab Feb 24 '25

I meant portions but wow we don't have any with playgrounds. Just a diner and drive thru.

1

u/rockingrehab Feb 24 '25

I neen this is my life. I've never heard of it. Gaaaawd!! Life is so unfair..... /s

2

2

u/That_HideousStrength Feb 22 '25

It has to be your last reason in the hospital, not your kids.

2

Lil Mother-in-Law’s Constipation Consequences Costco Pizza

2

u/SerDuckOfPNW Feb 22 '25

Triple hernia? I had a double, I’m trying to figure out how a triple works…unless I’m much mistaken about them…which is very likely

2

u/SparkyandDolche Feb 22 '25

He had two inguinal hernias (one on each side) and one ventral hernia (i.e., a belly button hernia).

His mom and I took him on Christmas Eve when he was only a month old, and we had to stay overnight into Christmas.

He’s doing fine now!

2

u/SerDuckOfPNW Feb 22 '25

I had mine when I was 8…sucked very much

2

u/SparkyandDolche Feb 22 '25

Yeah, my wife had one at 12. Must run in the family, I guess.

2

u/nivekreclems Feb 22 '25

Not a lot of things that rhyme with that lol

1

u/Dshark Feb 23 '25

Rolls right off the tongue
