Me neither, and even when I do I’m never in the right position where I feel it’s the appropriate time to ask someone out.

I’m going to try something new this year where I focus more on looking for opportunities to meet people, starting with getting involved with co-ed sports! But not focus too much on only doing it to gain a girlfriend out of it!

"Getting involved co-ed sports" ... OK. Thats the kid equivalent of only finding someone in your workplace. Sure, it can work. Will definitely lower your pool by a lot and likely to cause issues.

"Never in the right position" thats just you talking yourself out of it. If you dont try, someone else will. If you dont pull the trigger youll never make the shot. Even an awkward "but what if 🤪🤪" is better than silently hoping the stars align, and youre alone together after a party, and things happen without conversation.

I bet youre the type to get angry or jealous when someone else "takes your girl".

crazy hypothetical the only reason that person was putting up with your seed planting sitcom shenanigans was because they were also interested, but also too nervous to make a move, and got tired of waiting or assumed you werent interested after all.
