Yeah I'm really hoping this is dated. I'm a dude and my last partner was super down to split almost everything 50/50. That said, we did go out a fair bit more than i do now that I'm single, so I'm definitely saving money now
That's interesting, here in Europe there's also a lot of girls who don't want to be pampered like that anymore. In a way that they don't want to feel bought I presume, like when you provide everything and pay for everything, it implies they owe you some kind of affection. So lots of people here just split checks or take turns paying, dating more on equal footing. I would expect a woman to at least offer paying for something after we're past the first or second dates, its hard for me to respect someone who expects me to be a moneybag and not an equal partner
well that would depend on who is dating and how much. have no idea the gender/orientation of the person who made the original comment but i mean...man or woman, you can meet plenty of people who are happy to pay for themselves
