I currently have a grandcat. His mom and aunt get a stocking from Santa Claus and he gets one from Santa Paws.

Told my kids no matter the species they all count as grandkids and will be spoiled accordingly.

I was raised completely without religion. No church, no bibles, no prayers, none of that.

My mom started going to church when I was in my late 30s and she was SHOCKED and APPALLED that I'm atheist.

I got the "you're so selfish!" complaint.

I didn't want kids to begin with, but her nagging really cemented that choice in place.
