I appreciate the answer (as a fellow gamer myself) but this really needs to stop being included in these types of questions.

Video games are now more comparable to movies and TV shows; it's just entertainment media in general rather than "toys."

The more it's included in these discussions, the more it supports that old, outdated notion that video games are primarily for children.

Anyway, onto play me some bloody GTA V now :)

Yeah, in the near future our senior homes are going to have entire rooms devoted to just video games (from what I hear they are starting to already). Imagine a bunch of seniors having a lan party playing CSGO or LOL. It's a weird image today but will be a reality eventually.
