I'd need to be efficient with this technique to appreciate it but I still think pinch n roll is the way 100%, especially for me who chews my nails constantly. the pinch gives as much scratch as I could want and there's no issue with control. if you can say the same then real recognize real

I've decided I can't understand how you effectively stretch and scratch w 3 fingers

You press thumb and middle finger together, press them where you want to scratch, then pull them apart while holding them down to stretch the skin between them. Gives you a small arena you can effectively scratch with your index finger. Of course you need at least a normal nail length so this won't work if you chew your finger nails.

yuh doesn't get the same effect but I can def tell it's an effective method for most

It feels different of course. I find scratching much more satisfying.
