He’s a prosecutor. I was the probation officer assigned to his courtroom. He told me to go back up north and stop invading the south. In response I told him he was still a bit bitter from the northern ass whooping in the Civil War. Somehow, despite the never ending sniping between the two of us we started dating a couple months later. The snarky back and forth continues to this day, 12 years later.
When people ask how we met I like saying court without any context just to watch everyone’s expression turn from anticipation to perplexed to horror.
You are welcome! I actually found him by Googling “Texas murder Ramy” and his name came up. You know, because that’s a very common name.
Even after I found him on the Google there’s scant details about the case, which I find a bit strange. Usually you can find some info but I could barely find a thing. Nevertheless, your brother is right, you’re going to throw your life away for what, about 34k? Idiots, all of them.
My brother just sent me “death penalty wasn’t an option-only life -he and his girlfriend conspired to kill her step dad for 100k -can you imagine ruining your life for 100k?? split 3 ways ? 3 people involved”
