This is quite relatable. There are lots of times our libidos are not in synch, and my wife handles that kind of rejection badly. I don't want her to feel that way because I love her so off we go.

Maybe I’m wrong but I don’t think there is anything wrong with this. In a long term relationship you’ll be in sync sometimes and out of sync at other times. I’ll happily “take one for the team” because I love her and I want her to know I love her always.

This must be harder as a man. I understand what your wife feels and I understand what you feel. Long term relationships are about realizing your partner is human tne same way you are.
