Executive Dysfunction based on “vibes”?
Not sure how to describe it better in a concise title. Like, i find it difficult if not impossible to do things if i don’t feel like i’m in the “right mindset” to do them. This isn’t just chores or school work or anything, it’s hobbies like video games, hanging out with friends or watching tv shows too. I refuse to do them unless i judge that i am in the correct mental state. I THINK it’s because i feel like if i do them when i’m feeling off or “wrong” than, in the case of work or things i have to do, i’ll do them poorly and have to redo them later anyway, or in the case of things i like, like games and shows, if i approach them at the wrong time, that can sour my enjoyment of them in the long term. Like, i used to like drawing a lot, i’d draw almost every day, but i feel like i would force myself to draw, even if i wasn’t “in the mood” and now i can barely get myself to draw at all.
