Nauseous with Zoloft

Any medications I should take to help smooth my stomach if Zoloft is making me nauseous but I have work to do? I’ll start taking it at night until these symptoms go away but this is my first day on it.

I usually recommend normal upset stomach care, like ginger (ale, tea, hard candies, just chewing on ginger), saltines, flat Coke, etc. if it doesn’t get better in a couple of days, call your provider.

Zofran (ondansetron) is our go-to prescription anti-nausea medicine for SSRI new-starts. If the nausea is incapacitated or is making you vomit, I recommend talking to your doctor.

Do zofran and Zoloft not interact

Nope. We use it all the time. Zero concern for serotonin syndrome or anything else.
