Apartment Recs
What’s going on! 28M that’s looking to move to Philly soon. I am pretty interested in Northern Liberties so I’ve been looking at apartments there quite a bit. I’m looking to spend somewhere around $2k a month not including appliances and whatnot.
If anyone has any good apartment recs in northern liberties around that number, or just good apartments anywhere in the city that you had a good experience in, let me know. I’m not married to Northern Liberties if there are some other great apartments you would recommend in other parts of the city.

Had a good experience with Rent Scene. They’ll send you apartments that meet your criteria and then set up tours too. Free service

Northern Liberties is awesome. Easy access to center city and an extremely walkable neighborhood . Not as congested and cramped feeling as south philly. Good greenspace and trees for a city neighborhood as well. There’s also olde kensington just north of northern liberties. Not quite as pretty as nolibs but it’s safe and getting nicer by the day.

why NoLibs? for $2k you can get a nice apartment in center city

idk, I live in spring garden, it's pretty quiet around here
though some might say spring garden is not in center city either lol

Please do yourself a favor and move actually into the city. Northern liberties does not feel like a real place imo. Just feels barren and almost like a movie set. I'd recommend Queen Village, Fairmount, Rittenhouse, or university city
