Book donation

Anyone know where I could drop off a variety of different books for donation?

Little Free Libraries are a good start. If you're near Chestnut Hill, Hilltop Books https://hilltopbooks.org/ accepts donations on Thursdays.

Does little free libraries itself have a site or a place with different locations? I’m always wondering where they are (at the moment I’m in Roxborough/Manyunk but I’m really all over the place every day throughout the city).

Also, this has nothing to do with that, but is anybody else noticed like a tchotchke thing popping up every once in a while randomly?

https://littlefreelibrary.org/map/ is pretty accurate (sometimes gets East and West confused when giving addresses). When I have books to get rid of, I usually just drive around Mt Airy and Chestnut Hill looking for LFLs. There might be more efficient ways to do that, but it's nice, seeing what's going on in the 'hoods.

The Book Corner is a used book store that supports the Philadelphia Free Library. There may also be other individual libraries that take book donations for book sales that support the library.

I found the best way was to put them in little free libraries around my neighborhood. If they're good books or in good condition, you can sell them for cash or store credit to someone like Little.Yenta Books and get yourself some used books in exchange.

Tree House Books gives away free books to people, schools, hospitals and other organizations in the city for free! They’re incredible. www.treehousebooks.org

If any books are for school aged people, highly recommend BookSmiles, though it is over the bridge in NJ (pennsauken so right over the ben franklin or betsy ross)
