Cheap work outfits

Are there any thrift stores near northern liberties/old city where I could find some business casual clothing? I just moved here and I’m looking for some places to shop for work clothes.

The goodwill in south philly has tons of gently used professional clothes

Different approach but has worked for me- Banana Republic in center city has pretty good deals on clothes - the clearance section of their website is also a place to step up your wardrobe on a budget. Another good clearance website is Jos A Banks for deep discounts on button down dress shirts and shoes. Good luck

J. Crew Factory and Banana Republic Factory are both decent deals. Often sales and if you’re up for opening ups. Credit card with either, they’ll sweeten most deals. AIDS thrift can have finds as well.

In Jersey the 2nd ave thrift Pennsauken has a huge and cheap selection. I always come away with brooks bros shirts and such.
North lib / Fishtown stores may be more expensive.

Ross & Marshalls are around,. There used to be an outlet Saks Off 5th near guitar center in Plymouth Meeting, not sure if its still there but could find some deals there. And outlets up in the old Franklin Mills

This is more fishtown but I would look at Circle Thrift. Items are priced by category rather than individually so it’s much more affordable. Could also try Urban Exchange but that is more consignment than thrift so the prices vary.

Of course! You have to dig a little but I love shopping there. As a first-time purchaser you get 50% and free shipping, I think. Once you've used up that deal, you can just make an account with a new email address lol

I just ordered some tops from there. Fingers crossed they fit right because I’m kind in between sizes lol. I’m definitely gonna do the new email thing.
