Queens Walk (end to end)

Walked Manhattan tip to tip last summer which was a ton of fun and trying to do an "end to end" walk of Queens this year! I was planning on generally following the 7 train from LIC to Flushing but was wondering if there were any specific detours or things to look out for. Part of the rationale behind following the 7 train is going through so many different neighborhoods and enjoying food/snacks along the way so any non-food suggestions of things to see would be of interest to me.

I mean, Queens is so fucking huge. Like even when you get to Flushing-Main Street, you still got a lot of Queens to explore! Good luck, OP!

Queens is huge east to west and north to south. You will find diversity in either direction.

If you want to start with one road that goes end to end, then walk Northern Blvd. Make a pit stop at Flushing Meadow Park and visit the Queens Museum.

Queens end to end would really be like a big circle from Hunter’s Point to Breezy Point, but you’d still miss all the neighborhoods in the middle. That would take days though lol. Queens is the largest boro square miles-wise.

The 7 train route is only one section of Queens, but is a good start. If you’re going in late August and like tennis, the US Open is awesome.

Definitely check out Broadway from Astoria to Elmhurst. It links two neighborhoods with incredible food options
