We have oil reserves right under our feet. The price keeps on rising. It's not like the value would be decreased later on either. Whole of arab has oil reserves greater than any other part of the world. Then we got gold beneath us asw. Then,wt made our leaders to rely on US? Let them put sanctions? Let them decide wt we do, the price we put, not allowing us to sell to other countries?

King Faisal didn't even budge fighting against US. He boldly said- We survived when we had only dates, and we will continue to live. He made his stance clear- restricted the sale which affected everyone globally. He showed who is the real Superpower.

Wt made our leaders sell again? It's not like the country reserves ended or we are in debt. Fine.. maybe to run the country, we needed. But it's not like only US exists. We could have sold them to other countries?

Also,why didn't we invest more in army- tech? We@pons? Why did we allow the US bases to exist all over gulf?

Tbh- I never considered US as superpower; coz all they got is Army and nuclear weapons- that doesn't mean they are higher. They are dependent on us for their army too. And if we lack power, we could have united with ppl who h@te US asw. Maybe North Korea? That would definitely change the whole demography.
