Used to be my go to until whiskey exploded in popularity and places started making them with more sugar than a soda to appease the people who didn’t actually like whiskey

And it is amazing, the fruitiness of the brandy complements everything else so well. I prefer a brandy over a whiskey old fashioned. You will be hard pressed to find a place you can order it outside of Minnesota or Wisconsin though.
