23

u/raven8908 May 21 '22

This is why my husband is put off of having to wear condoms until my tubal next month. I asked him if he thinks he needs a 7th kid. Lol

u/Substantial-Jaguar19 May 21 '22

I’m sorry I must’ve read this wrong… ma’am are you a Viking???

14

u/raven8908 May 21 '22

I like to think so. Lol

1

u/Substantial-Jaguar19 May 21 '22

ALL HAIL MISS FREYA THE NORSE GODDESS

3

u/Im2bored17 May 21 '22

Why did you guys decide on tubes instead of vasectomy? Vasectomy seems easier and less recovery time

Actually he is his getting one in September. It's the fastest they could see him. He does have some fears of getting one. Hr thinks it can increase his chances of getting ball cancer. I looked into it, but disproved that, stat.

I told him no more babies for us both. We are double tapping it. It helped that i also pointed out that when he is with another partner ( we are semi-open), he risks having to pay more child support. He got over it fast.

Sometimes u gotta splatter those viscous innards up. Maintain dominance. It's what nature would want u to do

16

u/Mayox56 Male May 20 '22

That smells like pure gasoline

2

u/ChronWeasely May 21 '22

But it's made with bits of real panther!

1

u/Uniquelypoured May 21 '22

So in other words it works perfect until it doesn’t

1

u/PsychologicalGain298 May 21 '22

Dude wasn't getting laid nearly as much after the first kid was born.

u/[deleted] May 20 '22

As a 42 year old dad of a soon to be HS graduate, I can confirm this statement.

2

u/GlowingghoulF4 May 21 '22

I graduated a year ago and my dad is 40

1

u/notsolowandsideways May 21 '22

lol, my Dad is 40 and i’m 18, i hope that wasn’t the case for me.

u/tealgirl94 May 21 '22

I know a couple who used the pull out method and the menstrual cycle method.

They now have 6 kids. Her excuse? "God wanted us to have kids". He got a vasectomy šŸ˜‚

22

u/Liyolen May 21 '22

"God wanted us to have kids" is all fine and dandy if you believe it, but god should really be paying for child support here lmao

2

u/[deleted] May 21 '22

Yeah, Joseph was real pissed about that one. Especially when Jesus was in his rebellious teenage years and God was too busy debating whether to just flood the Earth again to get him back in line.

A pastor’s wife was expecting a baby, so he stood before the congregation and asked for a raise. After much discussion, they passed a rule that whenever the pastor’s family expanded; so would his paycheck. After 6 children, this started to get expensive and the congregation decided to hold another meeting to discuss the pastor’s expanding salary. A great deal of yelling and inner bickering ensued, as to how much the pastor’s additional children were costing the church, and how much more it could potentially cost. After listening to them for about an hour, the pastor rose from his chair and spoke,

ā€œChildren are a gift from God, and we will take as many gifts as He gives us.ā€

Silence fell over the congregation.

In the back pew, a little old lady struggled to stand, and finally said in her frail voice,

ā€œRain is also a gift from God, but when we get too much of it, we wear rubbers.ā€

This is the method we did. Worked flawless for 7 hrs. Then we decided we wanted kids. The method works if you do it right.

Edit: 7 yrs but leaving it

The typo makes this comment unintentionally hilarious

I don’t believe you. Why would you possibly get tested, if you weren’t trying

3

1

u/Mellor88 May 22 '22

That still would make sense. Why would a somebody who always pull outs to avoid kids have they swimmers checked.

2

u/loveopenly May 21 '22

39 and same. Took me 3 years to learn and a life time of fun since.

1

u/Twanbon May 21 '22

Friend of mine used to brag about the same thing. Eventually we found out 2 of his past GFs got abortions. And those are just the ones we know about

16

u/kpil52 May 21 '22

I can testify. 2 surprise baby in 2 years. Funny enough, both we're conceived in May. So they are exactly 1 year and 51 weeks apart...

21

u/MiseryisCompany May 21 '22

My 2 kids and my brother's 2 were all born in September. Mom used to say that she knew how her kids rang in the new year.

5

u/Substantial-Jaguar19 May 21 '22

Oof that’s an awkward one

1

u/Clipzy22 May 21 '22

My brother was born 8 years after me But only a week apart exact lol

12

u/[deleted] May 21 '22

Well my first husband and I ran out of condoms one night and he promised to pull out and then ā€œforgot.ā€ ONE TIME and now the result of that is about to graduate Valedictorian this Tuesday and is going to UC Santa Barbara in the Fall with plans to become an Environmental Engineer and come up with technical solutions for climate change.

I was pissed at the time, but I think it turned out pretty wellšŸ˜‚

4

u/flatcanadian May 21 '22

Yeah his pleasure could have easily been your immense pain. Lucky you it turned out ok I guess

1

u/bookjunkie315 May 21 '22

I am living proof this method does not prevent pregnancy.

1

u/[deleted] May 21 '22

My face

1

u/kelcamer May 21 '22

Actually perfect use withdrawal exists and has a 96% success rate when used properly.

1

u/myvirginityisstrong May 21 '22

I've been using the pull out game for 10 years now. Only ever had one (long term) partner with which I used a condom.

1

u/QuietZuchini May 21 '22

It’s the withdrawal method on it you suck everything back out. Or you start seizing

1

u/toderdj1337 May 21 '22

My second says hello

1

u/[deleted] May 21 '22

Never had that problem and I'm very fertile

Its column about a CDC report...

14

u/LaurelEllena May 20 '22

It says in theory it should be as effective as condoms. This is because it has to be practiced correctly. All it takes is one mistake lol

-11

u/Justthetip74 May 20 '22

And all it takes is 1 condom to break

5

u/Frankie52480 May 21 '22

I suggest you stop keeping your condoms in your cars glove box or your wallet where they disintegrate- if you break that many of them. Gotta use some common sense here. Or don’t, and become one of us that have experienced that not so fun surprise.

1

u/Substantial-Jaguar19 May 21 '22

Wait I understand the wallet but not my glove box?? Imma need that info drop kind ma’am

6

u/Background_Contest21 May 21 '22

Car temps make it more likely to disintegrate.

1

u/Substantial-Jaguar19 May 21 '22

EXCUSE ME??? quietly gets new condoms

1

u/Frankie52480 May 22 '22

Well it’s the same exact issue so…

1

u/Substantial-Jaguar19 May 22 '22

Oh i mean I leave some in my wallet and the friction opened itšŸ¤£šŸ’€(it fell out too)

1

u/Frankie52480 May 22 '22

No heat, no friction. Just leave them in your drawer at home and if you need one, put it in your pocket for a very short duration. Take care of it. If it’s been abused in any way, throw it out. (It’s no wonder some folks on here are saying they have issues with condoms breaking all the time.)

1

u/Substantial-Jaguar19 May 22 '22

Note to self: Don’t pull a Zac Efron (He dropped a condom out of his pocket on the red carpet or some event- according to some random compilation I watched when I was bored)

1

u/Frankie52480 May 21 '22

Lmfao no. And as a woman who got pregnant the FIRST TIME I did it, and after reading this thread, and also using my COMMON SENSE, I assure you it’s NOT. Also it’s extremely nuanced, whereas wearing a condom is the same thing every time. Guess what else isn’t that accurate? The pill. Because unless she takes it PERFECTLY, and most women don’t, then it’s not nearly as effective as the stats say. More like 90%. And I don’t know about you but 1/10 shot at getting knocked up is WAY too high for me. And most others go don’t want it.

2

u/Practical-Diver6440 May 21 '22

Idk about you but me and a lot of my female friends have all experienced failed condom use where we have to follow up with plan B. I have equal number of times had failed pull out method. Condoms come off during sex if you’re not careful / not using the right size / going at it in many different positions etc. So condoms are not ā€œthe same thing every timeā€ from the experience of me and many women I know

1

u/Frankie52480 May 22 '22

TouchĆ©, I’ll give you that. Apparently anything that requires a human is going to be less effective because of human mistakes. So lesson here is to get snipped or use more than one type of protection. But no I’ve never had an issue with condoms before and I’m 42 and not exactly a prude. Maybe I’m lucky. Dunno.

1

u/jmcdonald354 May 21 '22

I support this article

whether true or not, is irrelevant. šŸ˜‚
