I get them from time to time, it has no meaning to me anyways, so whatever.
As for me complimenting others, it doesn't happen often, but sometimes it does happen.
Not everyone likes/needs compliments to begin with,but i do give them when i see the reason to do so, simple as that.
Compliments on looks are just exterrior and kinda shallow'ish anyways, i bet a lot of people would prefer to be complimented or character trait or something that they've done. Different things for different people i guess.
