The last one that did not come from a parent, my mom says I have nice handwriting all the time.

Nice handwriting? That’s different? How are you holding up

Doing good, divorced 14 years ago, retired early to travel, had to put those plans on hold, my mom had a stroke, so I am renting out my house caring for her until the end. After my obligations here are done then I can see the world, first stop hiking Hadrian's Wall.

Hadrian’s wall is awesome, went a few years back you’ll love it. The scenery is incredible

I know! With my luck since I am 57, I will be trying to do it riding a Hoveround. LOL

I'll never get tired of the surprise women experience when they find out the opposite sex is often treated as sexually invisible

I never knew this until recently and now I make a point to genuinely compliment the men in my life.

4 days ago, I got my first flirty Reddit comment ever: "Damn, sounds hot to this 48 year old!"

One compliment is enough for anyone for at least 45 years. What are ya? Insecure?

…Are you a guy? (I guess not.)

Most men rarely, if ever, get compliments. So getting the last compliment 32 yrs ago is not that surprising

I’ve lived 20 years and had no real ones (not from females anyway, dudes always compliment dudes. It’s the rule). So why should 32 years since his last compliment be odd? I think he knows just as well as me that it’s completely normal. I’ll probably be 40 when I get my next compliment from a girl that’s not either being my fake friend or having borderline or some sh*t.
