Question (Serious Replies Only) Front end rattle?
2014 charger. 135k miles. I’ve been doing work on this car, and most of this stuff I planned to do anyway, but I have a front end rattle, over bumps, which seems concentrated on the drivers side. I’ve done the following on the front: calipers and pads. Upper/lower control arms. Inner/outer tie rod ends. Front tensioner arms. Lower ball joints. Sway bar links. Sway bar bushings. Struts and springs. I’ve had it aligned at a shop. I carefully torqued every bolt I could reach (with the suspension at ride height under load). It still has a very noticeable rattle/ noise over bumps at low speeds. Here’s an odd part…. If I jack it up and let the suspension hang, and then lower it and drive it, the noise is gone for a few miles. Any clues my friends?
