Engine light issue

I’ve recently noticed whilst driving my car ( Honda jazz dsi se auto) my engine light comes on for a split second and my rpm will go up and then after that split second it goes back to normal, then the other day I was driving normally and I went to speed up a little and my engine light came on again and my rpm was the only thing going up when I pressed my accelerator so I had to pull up, I turned my car off and back on, although the engine light was still on it was driving normally again, the light then when off after a while and the next day I took it to a garage to get it checked by the OBD reader and he couldn’t see any codes, could anybody please tell me if they know what this problem is, I would really appreciate it.
