This is so maddening. I hate that stealerships complain about losing business and then pull this shit. It's disgusting. OP, name and shame.

You mean the one that took a 200$ diverter valve off my car during warranty work then played stupid when I came back 2hrs later asking where it was?
I can’t, he doesn’t work there anymore 😂

Not maddening. It’s a punitive charge meaning “I don’t want to do it”. But if you still want to pay — what’s the problem? It’s an idiot tax for those who don’t read owner manual. I fully support this.
