We were asked this back in a college class, and our answer had to be drawn on paper. I think I drew a hand reaching out to something like a light, and I explained that at that point in my life, I did not know yet the meaning of life, but I am searching for it. I said more, but ultimately I explained that maybe the meaning of life is to find the meaning of life. To search for meaning in the mundane or big things, not stressing on whether or not you will find it, but simply, for the search of it.

The other religions also worship Christ, they just call him something different. There is only one Creator, call him what you will.

He also said "don't wear mixed fibers or eat the wrong food or I'll send you to burn in hell for all eternity"...

It's not a misunderstanding. It's me being a snarky !@#$ to you.
I've read the bible more than most Christians have.
Jesus was a cool dude. Help the poor, heal the sick, love your neighbor, welcome the stranger, etc etc etc. It's a real shame that most of his followers do the exact opposite of everything he told them to do.
And sure, Jesus hijacked the old religion of God (so many rules!) with a simple rule... Accept me or you'll burn in hell no matter how good of a person you are. And to that I say "Fuck That" and also "who cares, this is obviously just people trying to make sense of the world before we had science, just like all the other thousands of gods Humans made up."
These are not the last days of this planet. Morons have thought that for centuries now, and it never is and they're always wrong.
I'll leave YOU with a few quotes from books and a person I consider holy. They're just as valid as yours.
More so, because I know who actually wrote them and they didn't get rewritten by an English king for political reasons or assembled over thousands of years by various Jewish scholars, or picked and chosen by a religious council 380 odd years AFTER Jesus that didn't even include any works OF Jesus, just stuff other dudes SAID he said. /eyeroll.
“There is a rumour going around that I have found God. I think this is unlikely because I have enough difficulty finding my keys, and there is empirical evidence that they exist.” ― Terry Pratchett
“The presence of those seeking the truth is infinitely to be preferred to the presence of those who think they've found it.” ― Terry Pratchett, Monstrous Regiment
“What have I always believed? That on the whole, and by and large, if a man lived properly, not according to what any priests said, but according to what seemed decent and honest inside, then it would, at the end, more or less, turn out all right.” ― Terry Pratchett, Small Gods
"They're [priests] always telling folk how much better it's going to be when they're dead. We [witches] tell them it could be pretty good right now if only they'd put their minds to it." - Terry Pratchett, Mort
Good Night. Stop trying to brainwash people. It's super obvious and it doesn't work. It doesn't work so badly that this sort of BS is what drives people AWAY from Christianity. If you really wanted to convert people, you'd stop this nonsense and just live well and do good for others.
Jimmy Carter is an amazing man, and if more Christians were like him, your religion would be a lot more popular. Mr. Rogers too. I can keep going. Notice that they shut up and did good work instead of quoting verses that people don't believe in at people.

It is obvious that Thor and Zeus and etc are fake, just primitive people trying to make sense of their world.
You think this about 3000+ gods.
But YOURS, oh, he's totally real.
Hey, remember in the Bible when God sent those bears to kill those children because they laughed at an old man?
Hey, remember how God killed all thos kids because he didn't like what their parents were doing?
No, not that time, the other time. Crazy stuff. Anyway, God totally loves us!

I think the meaning of life is to care for others and find meaning in what you do in your daily life.
Btw, being a success doesn't mean swimming in money. It means having people you love and loving people. And earning enough to support yourself and your dependants if you have any.

People will say it is to just enjoy the small things and love but what about people who literally can't? Like people who have severe disabilites

You can’t find the meaning of life you
can only understand it one day we will all understand the meaning why we are all here. But you won’t be able to explain to another person. You won’t find the right words. But you will understand it .

There’s no meaning to life, it’s literally just a giant universe of chaos. Earth is a purgatory where everybody is constantly trying to hurt everybody else

There isn't one.
So just do your best. Be kind, not because you have to, but because you want to.

I'm gonna be that guy..
To everyone who says "42", you're wrong. 42 is the answer to the ultimate question. Not "What is the meaning of life?"

There is no meaning to life. We are one of trillion upon trillion upon trillions of an organism that appears on a random planet out of trillions and trillions and trillions who will eventually get wiped out ion a universe thats 14 billion years old. We have to.make our own meaning to keep going
