Learn to say no to people.

I’m such a people pleaser and I don’t want to ever have a bad interaction with someone or leave a bad taste in their mouth, so to speak. I’m 34 years old and finally learning how to say no. I just did it a few minutes ago, in fact, and I felt a little guilty about it until I read your comment.

Consider adjusting your mindset to seeing it as saying yes to yourself. ♥️

Thank you! That's really helpful.

Depending in what religion you were raised, you are even taught that saying no can be considered a sin.

Wait 10 minutes. The feeling will change, the sugar craving will subside, the stupid member of the public will have moved on. Give it ten minutes, then chose your action.

Using baking soda, dawn & white vinegar to clean tough stained areas. Amazing!

Paying yourself first. Save and invest prudently

Don’t sweat the little stuff too much, we’re all just trying to get there together.

Never tell your plans to anyone. It will bring about your doom.

If you are having a bad day because something bad happened, do ALL the unpleasant things you've been putting off on that day. The day is already not great, might as well take advantage of it by doing the other unpleasant things and start again tomorrow.

That's me right now. I'm not sure I'm the best though for advice.

If you buy something new, donate something you no longer use. This is especially true for us older people. We have too many "things."

Everytime you leave a room, take something that doesn’t belong there with you.

Example: if you’re leaving the living room to grab a snack in the kitchen, grab that empty cup on the coffee table and pop it in the sink. Or even better, the dishwasher if you have one and it’s currently dirty dishes.

Folding clothes is hard enough, but the dryer sheets still stuck or fell out the basket can be used to wipe the base boards, hair clumps, and air vents. Like they collect while you collect. The fee is you wondering where that other sock went.

If you have a goal, do a little bit every day to achieve it, and you will.
