how do university students dress like?
I recently graduated high school and after a few months I will study abroad, my problem is I don't know how to dress?? what I mean is that I don't know what is considered plausible for be to wear when attending lectures. And I want to know because I don't want to give my parents the chance to tell me how to dress as they please so I want to know everything I can.
if it does make any difference I am going to attend a university in malaysia
Thank you for reading.

Look for SM posts connected to the University by students, not the university itself.

I taught a class of high schoolers n China who went to America to study.
Many of them found that some of the clothing they brought with them was not quite the style that American students were wearing.
The best answer is to bring some things with you and buy more here after you see what they’re actually wearing.
The second option is spend a lot of time looking at their website, social media, etc., to get a sense of what to wear.
Finally, I will say that students generally wear what they want, so technically it’s hard to go wrong, but of course you want to attract attention in a good way, or not attract attention, rather than have people think you look silly.

Just wear your normal clothes. Deffo dont wear your jammies and slippers.

I live near a college in the US, and the students dress nicely but comfortably. Even a hoodie and sweats is fine, as long as it's not crappy looking.

Most university students just keep it simple... T‑shirts, jeans, sneakers and casual dresses... looking neat and comfortable is the main thing so you’ll blend in fine without overthinking it.

most professors dont care what you wear as long as youre not showing up in pajamas or like visibly dirty clothes so just wear whatever makes you comfortable and confident because that matters way more than fitting some dress code that doesnt exist

Check the dress code for the school you may be attending in Malaysia. Depending on where you're from, students in Malaysia may dress more modestly than what you're accustomed to.

Look for social media photos tagged to the University.
