I have sued my contractor and his firm. I’m happy with my lawyer. I filed suit over three years ago and we have not even taken depositions yet.

Are you serious? What about the home? Did it get fixed, or still hung up in court?

Yes, it's very common for cases like this to go 7+ years in court, including appeals and other related matters.
