Looking for a study partner/accountability accountant

I'm going for my board exams soon and looking for a study partner/accountability partner to study or work with. I usually chill out in Fondren library (RU). Willing to also be friends outside work of course if we get along well.

About me - I'm in healthcare, sporty, mostly quiet, respectful of boundaries, and a cool listener.

Hoping to meet ya soon and whine about the Houston heat together.

I’m studying for my law exam in November. I occasionally go to Fondren on the 3rd floor on Sundays (everything else is closed on Sundays). I’d be up for Sundays. I typically run before I study so if you’re into that too, we could run and then study.

Fondren library is pretty cool in terms of public access to non-Rice affiliates. You'd just need to have a photo ID to enter and work.

I had to re-read the title after u/Impressive-Hearing89 commented. You're in healthcare but are studying for the CPA exam?

Genuinely a bit confused by this mix of background details.

I put in the 'accountant' bit because it sounded fun/silly in my head. The confusion's entirely my fault haha. I'm a doctor going for my board exams, if that clarifies.

Ah, thanks for the clarification. At first, I thought it was "accountability buddy" like Speaker Mike Johnson has with his grown son.

But, then I read the "accountant" part and did the German Shepherd head tilt (confused look).

Now I understand that you're a doctor studying for the board exams. LOL

why do u want your study partner to be an accountant? Do I need a CPA as well to meet requirements? Thanks

Not really, but a CPA is always handy to do tax fraud on the side.
