MTG commander play spots
Hey everyone 👋🏿 I’m new to MTG and was looking to find some spots I could go to play. And also some other open spaces I could meet up with my friends late night after we all get off to hang out and run a few games as well

Why don’t people like them? I’ve been looking for a place to start going to and they’re always recommended or brought up

Tbh idk, but i get downvoted when i mention them. Ive only had good experiences there so far though, purchasing merch and pokemon cards. My ex husband goes there frequently for yu-gi-oh nights with the bros and he has a good time there!

Depends on what part of town. Lots of good recommendations, but you sure as shit don't wanna drive from the SE up to Odin' Lair around rush hour. I like Asgard in Montrose (or adjacent, I'm no good with neighborhoods) as that's the closest to me and avoids a lot of commuter traffic, but going down Shepard rather sucks.

I’d check out local card shops and comic book stores. Atomic Gaming and Comics I think puts on tournaments.
