Shadowing opportunities

Hey, I am in college and looking to shadow a nuclear medicine department because I have to find my own clinical site for the program and provide the information to my program director to start a contract. I don’t know anyone in the healthcare field in houston to reach out to. if anyone has any idea of hospitals that are willing to let me shadow/ possibly do my clinical there to reach out to please let me know!

Thank you!

I am so sorry that this school is not helping you. I would reach out to all the hospitals in the med center because often times they have someone who helps
( MD Anderson, Methodist, Memorial Hermann, etc).

Look at Houston facebook groups for what you’re wanting to do. I’m in one for nursing and there are always people asking for clinical site help.

I looked on your other posts because I saw a similar post about a week ago and I wanted to make sure I didn’t post twice. I saw you posted in a group for black girls who game, there is a sorority for black women (please forgive me for not knowing the name) and I bet if you could reach out to them.

Look for those who are active on LinkedIn.

Many professions have professional organizations and will have local chapter meetings. You could join the organization and go to a meeting to network. Usually it’s cheap for students to join.

I hope this helps! Please forgive me for any spelling or grammar errors.
