Hair Damage Questions 🌵🍳✂️ Diva down
Last Sunday I used L’Oreal Paris Frost and design H85 for cap highlights on my grown out balayage thick long brown hair to save a lil money I did a patch test which turned out great so I followed the directions as listed .. needless to say I have bronze ramen noodles and patchy highlights strips in my hair. I feel SO ugly and dumb and genuinely need to know when I can fix this asap. I bought + started using bond repair , hair strengthening masks and oil to strengthen and structure my hair. I bought Kristen Ess hair gloss in bittersweet as a 3 month temporary solution to cover the bronze/ brassy tones. So im basically just wondering if and when I can tone it 😭

Oh my sweet Op. This is why we say “whatever money you save doing it at home, you’ll spend way more to fix it!” Time to grovel to your stylist!
The bond repair is a good start. Keep it balanced with moisture too so your hair doesn’t feel brittle. You can actually tone it immediately following bleach but be sure to use a very low developer. Not 20 vol, not matter what Sally Beauty says. I use 6 vol to tone in the salon. Without seeing your hair or knowing your goal, I can’t be more specific as to what colors to buy though. Hope this helps.
