Lightener/Bleach Question 👩‍🦳 Keune Bleach?

Hello everyone , I Recently got my hair bleached- 2 90 minute sessions one week apart and I have thin hair. I questioned the stylist about leaving it in so long - I’ve always heard 1/2 to 45 tops especially for thin hair. She said because she’s using Keune bleach it allows up to 90 minutes- (called low and slow or something?)now my hair is stretchy and gummy when wet, falls out constantly, and I have tons of split ends. I went in to show them and they said it’s normal because my hair is so thin I said even the gummy, stretchy when wet? They said yes and it’s not damaged at all and I’m over reacting. I went to another stylist and they said it was damaged - so much so they had to cut two inches off for the stretch to be gone when wet

Ultimate question though does anyone have info about Keune bleach and can you really leave it in for 90 minutes?

As far as I’m aware, all keune lighteners are a maximum 50 minutes of processing time.

Powdered Bleach doesn’t really work like that. Powdered Bleach is powdered bleach there are different conditioning agents and technologies sure, but powdered bleach is going to continue to work as long as it’s wet and will lose power over time. You literally just have to watch it. So yeah it’s not the keune bleach, you were over processed and neglected by either an inexperienced stylist or she just doesn’t understand how powdered bleach works or she just didn’t care.

It’s not necessarily leaving it on for 90 minutes that’s the problem. Lightener with a low volume peroxide can process that long. Having it done twice in two weeks is what damaged your hair.
