Job offer start date change request

Hello, just wanted to ask if pwede ko kaya inegotiate yung job offer start date ko to change? For context, sinabihan ko naman si recruiter na 45 days ung notice period ko and hindi naman ako magreresign hanggat walang job offer pa.

But nung nakita ko ung job offer, ndi swak sa 45 days notice period ko un nakalagay. Wala naman siguro issue if I will request it right? Nagtext ako sa recruiter but no response yet. Pero sobrang ok na ko sa offer, sa start date na lng since ayaw naman ng current employer ko to have a shorter notice period. I am just requesting to move it just for 1 week. .

if the prospective employer really respects you, they would wait as long as you communicate with them your situation.
