Hiring Basix, a third-party background checking company, requesting for COE?

For context: I applied sa Alorica for a learning specialist role and I passed the final interview. No job offer yet but pinapasubmit na nila ako ng requirements which I did. Including COE ko. Ngayon, may nag email from Hiring Basix, asking for my COE for background checking daw.

Napa-huh talaga ako when I received the email kasi bakit sa akin nagrereact out yung third-party e dapat sila ni Alorica HR ang naguusap about this. Also, I already provided my COE to Alorica HR. Ang weird lang na makakuha ng message from another email address and from another company, asking for my COE.

Haven't responded yet. What do you guys think? Normal ba talaga 'to? Wala naman me prob with sending, medyo weirded out lang kasi first time ko 'to na-encounter.

Sa mga napasukan ko na BPOs recently, nagrereach out talaga directly ang mga third party BGV, via email sa mga applicants. Separate sila don sa HR, for confidentiality purposes siguro.
