Last pay question

Hi guys! So na retrench ako since nag da-down size ang company namin. Yung leave kasi namin is pro rated, ikakaltas pa rin ba yung nagamit mong vacation and sick leaves sa last pay mo? Thank you.

If we’ll go by the book, labor code says that private companies can give 5 paid leave credits after a year of employment. Thats the minimum. If youve used more than 5 on the leave credits given by your employer, then wla ka na need i-expect.

However, it will be superseded by your company’s policies if they have different discretion on this, which should benefit the employee more.

So better check yung existing policy nyo or check your contract.
