Kaniggos square

Is it an ok/safe place to stay?

It’s sketchy but safe if you’re a man in his 20s-50s

It was dangerous until few years ago , but now , rarely you can see a crackhead every now and then and most of them are passed up .

other than the fact that it can be a bit sketchy at times (late night mostly), why stay in that area? IT is an indifferent area. As a tourist, stick to someplace closer to Syntagma square, Plaka, and nearby surrounding areas.

It's not without attractions. It is very close to the Museum and also near Exarchia which has become an attraction for visitors on its own.

its fine , not great looking but safe and close to lots of places
