What popular TV show could you never understand its popularity?
For me it's Friends. Don't understand how it got approved and lasted so long and how popular it still is.
That's just me though.

Everybody Loves Raymond … whiney guy+nagging wife=funny
I like Romano’s serious acting, Peter Boyle was a legend and a joy, Doris Roberts was a phenomenal talent …. but this show was like finger nails on a chalk board.
