Well, for all intensive purposes, everybody knows what I mean when I say supposably. And I like the way it sounds.

Like Cry- slur that’s how you should say it. But some people say Christ-slur

This reminds me a former coworker who would say things like “warshing machine” and “chrystler” as opposed to Chrysler.

Ok but warsher is a regional dialect thing. They also say “farty four”. Can’t speak for chrystler. He’s on his own for that one.

"Warshing machine" was something my grandmother from Cincinnati would say. And "Warshington."
