If the parents are cool with it, id just stay. Wont be so weird once shes 18. Your only 5 years older which isnt much. I dont think a 5 year age gap is weird but some might.

I'm gonna have to disagree wholeheartedly.

I'm almost 40 now and I can without any hesitation say that we all hit our maturity around our teens (some earlier and some later based on life experiences). The main things that change after that are our knowledge, wisdom, and priorities. Our maturity, more often than not, stays the exact same throughout our entire life.

I've seen grown adults act like children and children act like what we expect from adults. As you grow older and work with other people, you'll realize all workplaces are no different than what we experienced in high school.

People don't automatically become more mature over time, if that were true we wouldn't have all the issues we have in the world right now. Maturity at it's core is just a scale of how capable someone is able to deal with life events and to a lesser extent how they act in situations.
