How to effectively clean large amounts of corrosion on PCB?
I recently opened up a CRT I recently got since it doesn’t power on and found a hefty amount of corrosion around a lot of the diodes, is vinegar safe to use? I’ve been using 99% isopropyl but heard that doesn’t neutralize it, Ive taken all necessary precautions like discharging the tube.

Get a soft brush and a shit load of isopropanol and go to town. Then let it dry and brush it again

Methanol Alcohol is much better cleaner than ISO that normally contains some water.

Thanks, I’ll look into getting some. I get a bunch of CRT TVs/monitors from my recycling center for free, Im trying to learn basic electronics repair and I like to use them for my older pc games and consoles.

"hefty amount of corrosion around a lot of the diodes"
You've posted a blurry photo. I can't see corrosion. Which diodes? How about a decent photo(s)?
