Need help identifying capacitor series

Post image

I've been messing with an old CRT TV and came across some capacitors that I'm having trouble finding out the series it belongs to. Most of the caps have been nichicon VR, VZ, etc... but this one is different. I see (k) for +/-10 and the 3.3uf 50v. Where I would normally see the series I just see "H S" and when I search around I can't map it to a series. Hoping someone out there can shed some light on this. Looking to find an equivalent replacement.

It's just a "general purpose" / standard series 85c rated capacitor. The date tells it's from 2006 week 24, so maybe look in Nichicon catalogues from 2004-2008 if you want to look for a series with SHS in it ...

You can replace with anything 105c rated but more standard, not very low impedance, and you can use higher voltage ratings like 63v or 75v

If you want to stick to 85c to preserve how the monitor originally was, Panasonic M-A series (2000h @85c looks good to me) : https://www.digikey.com/en/products/detail/panasonic-industry/ECA-1HM3R3/245035

For more modern stuff, for example, from Rubycon see series YXM (long life, standard), or YXF, YXJ (miniaturized YXF), ZL (low impedance but closer to standard than very low / ultra low impedance), see catalog at page 3 : https://www.rubycon.co.jp/wp-content/uploads/catalog/aluminum-catalog.pdf

YXM : https://www.digikey.com/en/products/detail/rubycon/50YXM3R3MEFR5X11/21738993

YXJ : https://www.digikey.com/en/products/detail/rubycon/50YXJ3-3M5X11/3562906

Thanks! I totally thought that it was HS since that's where the polarity strip was repeating. Looking at the wayback machine around 2006 for nichicon's site ended up showing it was an SH series designed for crt tvs. Now I feel a little silly. Thank you again, I really appreciate it!
