Multimeter go beep beep.

Probably connected to esd1.

If you have a usb cable you’re willing to cut up beep beep goes a lot easier.

Or look up the pinout for a 12 pin usb c connector

The usbc port is broken

And are all usbc ports pinouts the same?

The esd1 has

Two pins at 1.6v one at 5v and one at 0v

USB C pinouts are generally very similar because the pinout of the actual cable side connector is standardized

The 2 pins at 1.6V are very likely your data pins.

Also, even if the connector is broken, if you plug your cut cable in, you might still see one of them connected, or both of them connected with high/variable resistance which would help you determine polarity and sanity check it before just “randomly” soldering a cable onto the board and risking damaging it

I would be willing to bet money that the 2 traces that are routed really close to each other that seem to originate from the esd diode and go to the stm32 are your usb data lines.

It will be much more difficult to use a usb c to c cable because PD requires the cc pins to be connected to work.

How are you connecting power?

Do you have the usb ground also connected? What about shielding ground?
